I'm using Vista Home Premium, German OS.
I just downloaded and started using LojiklSweep and got one backup to run OK. I backed up folders from the C drive to an external hard drive.
When trying to edit the backup settings to cancel some folders and try to grab more folders to backup, I'm running into problems.
When I click "File System" then try to expand the Computer path, I get an error message in German:
Unbehandelte Ausnahme in der Anwendug. Klicken Sie auf "Weiter", um den Fehler zu ignorieren und die Anwendung fortzusetzen. Wenn Sie auf "Beenden" klicken, wird die Anwendung sofort beendet. Zugriff verweigert (Ausnahme von HRESULT: 0x8007005 (E_Acessdenied)).
If I click "Weiter" (further), the Computer folder will not expand, and I get a non-responsive symbol (that blue circle that goes round and round, from the Vista system).
If I click "Beenden" (end), LojiklSweep closes.
The reason I'm trying to expand the Computer folder is so I can backup my D drive folders. How do I accomplish this? If I'm not able to use LogiklSweep to backup the D drive, then I'll have to find another backup program.
The other problem I'm seeing is that if I want to edit my backup settings and go into "My System" or "File System," I have to select my username folder, then deselect the ones I don't want - all over again like I'm starting a new backup. Maybe you could explain more thoroughly how to edit an existing backup.
